Novuh Kaine

Waddup! I go by the name of Novuh Kaine, an alt hip hop artist from Michigan. My music is a blend of punk rock and alternative music with the classical aspects of hip hop lyricism. With a focus on writing from a place of vulnerability. My first project in 2 years, Oxytocin drops March 27th and marks a huge step in how much my music has matured and my skills have sharpened. I am also part of a performance collective called Sadurnalia with frequent collaborator Jonny Lovelle. 

I have been making music for about 11 years. Performing, recording, writing, and engineering every step of the way. What started as writing poetry to vent and make sense of the world evolved into my biggest passion. I have played so many shows over this decade but my stand outs are: Stoopfest 2019 & 2025, Swirpfest 2021-2023, Opening for Dizzy Wright, Playing a sold out show at Royal Oak Music Theatre, and throwing 7 shows and counting with some of my favorite midwest artists and collaborators. I also am a mental health advocate, performing for therapy groups and running song writing workshops for non profits like Michigan Round Table. I pride myself in inspiring fans and collaborators to be true to themselves and hope that the stories I tell can make people realize they have a voice and are not alone.

My 2026 plans are to play/throw as many shows as possible and make a name for myself across the midwest. My album drops March 27th, I have an album release show the 28th. In May I am going on a 5 date tour spanning from Columbus, OH to Flint, MI with acts: Knightheart and RockywitaY. Once that tour ends I will be booking monthly shows in the greater area of southern Michigan and hope to bring my act to new and exciting stages I've never touched before.
